Cold isostatic press is a powder forming equipment under ultra-high pressure. It usually uses rubber or plastic as the mold sheath material and liquid as the pressure transmission medium to apply the same pressure to the powder blank in all directions and press it into the predetermined shape, providing the blank for the next sintering, forging or hot isostatic pressing process.
The application fields of cold isostatic presses
Cold isostatic presses are widely used in various fields of industries such as cemented carbide, powder metallurgy, high-speed steel, titanium and titanium alloys, refractory materials, graphite, crucibles, ceramics, rare earth permanent magnets, crystals, medicine and food, etc., due to their ability to obtain high-density and highly homogeneous products from powder raw materials. Cold isostatic pressing machines are highly conducive to mechanical processing and can also produce various products with particularly complex shapes.
Ultra-high pressure equipment featuring a prestressed steel wire winding combined frame, a prestressed steel wire winding working cylinder, and a floating end cover.
This equipment is mainly applied in the powder metallurgy industry such as refractory materials and ceramics, and it adopts wet bag method and dry method for forming.
